The brain is a filter for the mind. The physical brain receives signals from the body and builds automated pattern recognition for discerning where to direct attention. Whether to attend to the pain receptors touching a hot stove or continue moving out of the path of a hazard. Where to look when the LED brights blind you on a well lit street. There are of course other patterns that can be built into the brain’s physical structure. Such as with heroin addiction or social media scrolling.
Patterns are what the brain cares about because it allows it to optimize itself to reduce fuel consumption. Less glucose used means more glucose for later. This is fundamental to communicating with Spirit as a human being.
Faith is a prerequisite for consciously following the rabbit hole. You will otherwise exit.
The Numbers Mason.. what do they mean?!
The first stage is, or at least my first stage was, “angel numbers” or put more simply. It is recurring clock times, usually, that break through mundane noise of life. Through the chaos, you begin to notice a feeling just as you decide to look at a clock. This feeling is what you’re training. It’s a flow state.
The numbers don’t necessarily mean anything. A Course In Miracles will teach you why the numbers don’t necessarily mean anything. The pattern Spirit is creating is simply an awareness. That awareness needs to coincide with another awareness for any meaning to be possible.
As this is the first stage it is also the easiest stage to dismiss as unintentional pattern seeking. It takes man nights of waking up at random times, but always looking at a clock at the same time after having been awake already. Or the various other ways numbers can show up in synchronicities (two things lining up).
At more advanced stages you might fight yourself playing a bit with your saving’s account balance. Only to find your chequing account also starts doing interesting things. You may find you buy something at a whim and your balance moves from one asthetically and numerologically pleasing number to another. I once bought random groceries that took my balance from $244.22 to $222.22 by sheer “coincidence” as far as I know for a fact.
Eventually you start building meanings from the patterns you observe. Those meanings you associate with the numbers. Just don’t go too schizo when you learn about schizophrenic numbers.
Tarot & Divination
In the second stage the seeker having explored some esoteric concepts begins to become exposed to tarot and various forms of divination. Almost always through another person’s practice/experience. This experience slowly begins building a history of receiving meaningful insights.
At some point the seeker will follow their need for answers into first hand practices. Once there, the practitioner begins to experience even more meaningful experiences.
These experiences will range as wide as the human condition.
A person may be watching YT tarot while pulling tarot themself. It is rare that every card will match, but the themes will be parallel if not converging.
One may find their meditative practices reaching new depths within. In guided state they may then choose to shuffle and pull tarot. Only to find their inner state reflected perfectly in the cards. Pulling Queens for every suit, or some other combination that is equally rare but extremely aligned.
Awareness
At a certain depth you’ll come to understand that awareness has infinite potential, and that it is within an increasing [but finite] awareness that free will ever arises. Within this ever increasing awareness you’ll become aware of what is happening in your reality, specifically for you.
For me.. that has been becoming increasingly aware of concepts of free will and Other. Resulting in an understanding regarding my lack of control and need for surrendering to the divine. An understanding that awareness of other people both provides the contrast necessary for self-reflection as well as noise to hinder contemplation.
Within your potential awareness you’ll find your intuition. You’ll build understandings through curiosity. Through this awareness you’ll find yourself collapsing a wave of possibilities within your self. Part of this process will be the revelation of unconscious patterns & habits.
You may become aware of insects, animals, and sometimes even people behaving in ways that could be perceived in meaningful ways. A fly that surrenders its life to you, going as far as to allow you to pick it up and crush it should you desire to complete the test. A passed loved one’s favorite bird leaving a feather for you in your yard. A cat crossing your path as you’re thinking of your cat loving friend.
Things and behaviours over which there isn’t a lot of conscious control is where you’ll find your signs from God.
The Subconscious Interface
This intermediary stage requires incredibly strong faith, contemplation, and self-reflection. Without them, progression becomes difficult because each provides a necessary tool for navigating the territory ahead.
Faith allows you to make the foundational presumptions required to engage with the unknown. Without faith, every insight remains trapped as a mere assumption, held at intellectual distance rather than lived understanding. Thereby precluding capacity to understand the territory you’re attempting to move within.
Contemplation develops the awareness needed to recognize structures both within yourself and around you. It sharpens perception. Self-reflection then turns that perception inward, forcing you to recognize your own consciousness as part of the system being observed rather than as something standing outside it.
Together these produce wisdom, but even wisdom alone leaves an important question unresolved: why does Spirit not operate openly within the world?
Simply put, direct intervention would interfere with free will. Because of this, Spirit cannot move through plainly observable mechanisms. It operates indirectly, through ambiguity, coincidence, intuition, impulse, symbolism, and chains of causality whose meaning cannot be conclusively proven from the outside.
In that sense, Spirit resembles quantum mechanics. Observation collapses possibilities into measurable outcomes, but not necessarily into understandable meaning. You can often measure what happened, but not fully determine why it happened.
A man suddenly screams “polka disco” in the middle of a train station. To most observers the event is meaningless noise. Yet that single interruption may alter a conversation, delay a departure, redirect attention, or trigger a sequence of events that eventually contributes to the birth of a particular person or discovery. Somewhere within that chain, the event may become deeply meaningful.
Often the meaning is only visible in retrospect.
The underlying idea is that Spirit functions as a kind of higher-order observer possessing awareness beyond the present moment. From such a perspective, the future is not nonexistent. It already exists as potential structure.
How could this be possible?
An easy way is to conceptualize it in higher dimensions.
In 4D, consciousness moves along a line through time. Past leads to present, present to future. But in 5D, time becomes more like a plane containing branching possibilities. At each decision point, observers diverge through different experiential paths, generating different worlds through different choices.
Each observer therefore becomes an origin point moving through a multidimensional landscape of probabilities.
By extension, 6D could be imagined as a state of ultimate convergence: a kind of Heaven or Garden of Eden reached through infinitely varied paths. Every soul experiencing a journey unique to itself, while simultaneously participating in the ascension of all others on a quantum level. The paths differ, but the movement trends toward the same underlying unity.
Mediumship & Channeling
This is not something I am practiced at or know on a deep level. What I do know is it requires utilization of the subconscious layer of the mind. What is on the other side of that interface is not conclusive. I have my own presumptions based on the above, but ultimately I do not know.
