I guess any model we conjure for acting in the world should probably have some predictive power to them.. Should we also do the same with our internal, mental navigation. Should our metaphysical beliefs be informed by predictive power?
When it comes to how we define ourself, how we relate the story of that self to our decisions. What are the pros and cons of using predictive stability.
Routines and habits, which the brain loves, these interact with dopamine. So does novelty though, which is of course not predictable by its very nature. I suppose a hack, or cheat code, might be to find a way to access infinite novelty through some safe means that doesn’t cause danger to you or others. Those believing in signs will certainly be at an advantage. Then a question of which master they serve. The Father, The Son, The Mother, the light beyond lights. What was it my boy Yeshua said? You cannot serve two masters.

Solidarity is what the soul craves, so maybe it’s best if we just surrender ourselves over to that idea. Build our beliefs to optimize our service to others. I’ll sin like no other, and try to achieve the right most life so that if I’m worthy you’re worthy. Then if you say it’s okay, I really don’t deserve it I’ll just stay here and suffer a while longer. I get to say, that’s cool I don’t mind suffering either.
